Pilates is a type of movement that is based on the principles of control, precision, centring, concentration, breath and flow. No matter your age, stage or fitness level, everyone can benefit from Pilates. In a typical session there will be a focus on all the major muscle groups and the smaller muscles that help stabilisation. The aim is to get you strong, fit and flexible and improve posture and muscle balance. Create stable joints, reduce back pain, relieve tension and master your breathing.
One-to-one Pilates sessions are a really effective way to get a more thorough focus on your personal needs, which is often not possible in larger classes. We start with an assessment of your posture, goals and requirements. This way a programme is created specifically for you and you will be coached towards reaching your fitness goals. Exercises are tailored to your body and are designed to be energising and progressive. Mat Pilates sessions using small equipment allow for great development. Terms and conditions
Sessions can be booked at a location of your choice (Blue Pilates' studio in East London (E8), your home, workplace or other London based studios) and must be within zone 1 or 2 of Central London. Sessions are 60 minutes and expire after 6 months. Blue Pilates holds a 24 hour cancellation policy - the full session fee will be charged when you miss or cancel an appointment without giving at least 24 hours advance notice. For cancellations made more than 24 hours prior the session we can reschedule to another day.
